Sorry for the delay but we wanted to say ‘Thank you’ again for coming to our school. The children thoroughly enjoyed the event and comments such as ‘can you come again tomorrow’ were heard across the school. The children are still talking about the cars and have learnt a lot through practical education. We were very impressed by the professional service and the way in which you catered for the ages and abilities of the children.

Dear Janet,

I am writing to thank you for a fantastic Road Safety learning experience which you and the Derbyshire police organised for our school yesterday. It was a really memorable day which combined serious road safety messages with fantastic fun.

The children were delighted to see the 3 junior-sized petrol driven cars travel around the track you created on our school playground. All our pupils learned a great deal about road safety and were delighted to then either drive a car or travel as a passenger around the track, wearing seat belts and helmets, obeying the rules of the roadÙ.

You and your team worked flat out from 8.30am until 4pm to ensure that everything was ready for the children, that all the children had the opportunity to take part in this fantastic experience and that everything was packed away properly. Lunchtime was spent on PRÙ activities with our pupils who benefited from this experience in so many ways.

I would just like you to know how much the staff and pupils at our school appreciate the fact that we were offered this opportunity for Road Safety Training and for enhancing links with the Police.
